Sally Doty - Tips for Starting a Political Campaign

The decision to start a political campaign is one that requires years of research and analysis of data, including demographics, projected economic state of an area, as well as the general culture and feel of a population. There are things that are studied long before a candidate even considers running for office in any location. Once this decision is made, it takes even more paperwork and formality to find the right people at the right time with the proper skill set to help carry out the campaign. The administration and organization required to be delegated to this task makes it no easy feat, but one that requires much time and proper financing. Running a successful political campaign is not something to scoff at, but is a very valuable skill in any field. Organizing and analyzing these massive amounts of data needed for the good of the campaign is a true art form, something that takes years to understand and a lifetime to master. The raw amount of data needed to be collected and analyzed in order to make informed campaign decisions can be quite baffling, and you never truly realize how much goes into it until you view things from a different perspective.
